• What is VAST? (Visitor Automated System Tracking) CTC Communications has developed VAST the Onsite Tracking System for contractors and Visitors. It replaces the traditional sign on book and speeds up the Sign on process and gives you the ablility to see who is on and has been on site. The evacuation function quickly allows you to view who is left onsite which is useful for Emergency Services. VAST also tracks Vehiciles, Equipment and keys in real time. VAST exceeds all OH&S criteria for safety and duty of care of people onsite and allows you to also create induction register of visiting people.
The VAST Software Improves security by keeping a record of all your visitors which allows you to have an auditable tool of Visitors from the moment you introduce this system. Do you hand out keys or equipment to Visitors, then keep a record of it as VAST logs all key and equipment, including Vehicle lending. Ever wanted to know if that contractor was on site all day like they said they were, and for how long? Want to know how long temporary staff are taking for breaks? 	How VAST Works Visitor or receptionist enters data into a form in the same format as a sign on book. A set of pre programmed cards with numbers are stored and used for visitors onsite. An Optional method is to Print Out a photo identification card for the visitor. User is then transferred into the Onsite Database. The User also estimates a visit time onsite. Should this time expire an Audible Alarm will be triggered via the software. The Live Onsite Status Tool will bring up details of the LOST visitor. Once a Visitor is leaving site they are then logged out of the database. Frequent Visitors to the site can keep their Identification cards onsite. In the Event of an evacuation all onsite visitors are printed out to a printer
